Kevin McCarthy is imploding

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Kevin McCarthy is not well. McCarthy (losing it, insurrection party, California) is imploding before our very eyes. House Speaker and Warrior Nancy Pelosi has announced her choices for the January 6 commission. One of those choices is angering creepy Kevin, and he was not shy about informing the media of said anger.

Pelosi has appointed Republican Liz Cheney to the committee. This was not unexpected news as we have been hearing for days that Pelosi might pick a GOP member.

This news, however, seemed to cause McCarthy deep and profound anguish. How do we know this? Because Kev spoke out to journalists where he proceeded to share his fury that Democrats want to get to the bottom of what caused the American terrorist attack.

First, McCarthy voiced his pain that Liz Cheney would dare to accept Pelosi’s offer. How dare she! Kev fumed about it to reporters and made things even worse for himself when he announced nobody really takes this commission seriously, disrespecting all victims of the insurrection and their families. Way to go, Kevin.

Note to Kevin: I think the Capitol Police would say differently.

Note to Democrats: please use this statement in election commercials.

McCarthy, attempting to look sad, spoke of the numerous failures that occurred at all levels before the insurrection.

This is why we need a commission. It’s not that complicated, Kev.

But Kevin’s favorite topic of choice was Liz Cheney.

“I was shocked she’d accept something from Speaker Pelosi,” the moronic Congressman exclaimed after he’d just finished raking Pelosi over the coals for what he calls politicizing the investigation.

Kev refused to answer a reporter’s question about whether he blames the former guy for any of this.

Just a quick note on this dunce. McCarthy has shown more genuine concern over Liz Cheney’s working to get to the bottom of the insurrection’s cause than he EVER has about the insurrection itself. But then again, what else could one expect from a man who is little more than a plaything of the former guy?
