This is also going to be a big week in the Washington DC Attorney General investigation into the Trump Organization
Thanks to Friday’s New York Times bombshell, we now know that Manhattan District Attorney’s long-inevitable first round of criminal indictments against the Trump Organization are apparently happening this upcoming week. That’ll make for, in the words of Michael Cohen, fireworks. But it turns out Manhattan isn’t the only jurisdiction Donald Trump has to worry about this week.
The Washington DC Attorney General’s office has long been running a civil probe into the Trump inaugural scandal, with the help of former Melania Trump friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. Now Wolkoff is revealing that on Monday, the Washington DC courts are holding a major hearing regarding the case:
Monday is a BIG day in Courtroom 212!
Event: Motion Hearing
Date: 06/28/2021

Thus far the Washington DC Attorney General probe into the Trump inaugural is still a civil probe. But the Manhattan District Attorney’s probe into Donald Trump and the Trump Organization also started off as a civil probe, and it has since evolved into a criminal probe with imminent criminal indictments coming. So there’s a chance the DC probe will turn into a criminal case and put people behind bars as well.
