Rudy Giuliani might as well start getting fitted for his prison jumpsuit
When the Feds raided Rudy Giuliani’s home and seized his communications last month, it meant they already had enough evidence to put him in prison, or they wouldn’t have been able to obtain such a warrant to begin with. At this point we’re all just waiting for the court appointed Special Master to parse Rudy’s communications and determine which of them should be turned over to prosecutors, so the Feds can get on with Rudy’s indictment and arrest. But that’s not the only trouble Rudy is facing.
Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis let it be known earlier this year that she was criminally investigating Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham, and others for crimes including election fraud and racketeering. It’s not entirely clear how far along that criminal case is right now. But Willis did confirm awhile back that she was already putting the case in front of a grand jury, meaning it’s the real deal. Now there are additional players in that scandal.
Based on today’s New York Times bombshell about the pressure that the Trump regime illegally applied on then-Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen to tamper with the 2020 election results, Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani are both certainly going to end up being criminal targets in Georgia if they aren’t already.
So not only is Rudy Giuliani in the process of being taken down by the Feds for taking dirty foreign money and his role in the Trump-Ukraine scandal, now he has to worry about the criminal case in Georgia as well. Unless Rudy decides to cut a plea deal against Trump, he might as well start getting fitted for his prison jumpsuit.
