The Republican Party is truly rotting from within
The Republican Party continues its rot from within. More evidence of GOP decline are damning comments by the former chief 2004 campaign strategist for former President George W. Bush, Matthew Dowd.
In a recent post on Twitter, Dowd was reported to have said that the Democratic Party was the only alternative left for America. He wrote: “All the tribes of our nation who care about democracy need to put aside any policy and cultural differences and go all in with the Democratic Party. It is the only vehicle we can trust to guard our Republic.”
Dowd is an independent who broke with the GOP when it fell under the sway of Cult Leader Trump. He is one of the founders of the “Country Over Party” movement. Dowd also urged the media to stop quoting the GOP crazies as if they were rational people.
Of course, the Palmer Report has long taken this approach. If the mainstream media would stop trying to make sense of the Trumpublican puppetry and stop glossing over their dysfunctional insanity to report the unvarnished truth, America might start recovering faster from its lingering Trump hangover.
