Senator John Kennedy (insane-insurrection party-Louisiana) has deep, deep issues. This story is stupid, and bizarre – sort of like Kennedy himself. Kennedy appears hard at work trying to get people to buy more guns. He even cut an ad on Twitter with the NRA. This ad was supposed to “trigger the libs.” That is where it all went wrong.

First of all, this ad shows a slightly psychotic-looking Kennedy sitting down, appearing to clean a gun. He gazes at the camera smilingly. The goal appeared to be aimed at making things look cozy and inviting. For me, all the image did was give me flashbacks to Jack Nicholson’s character in “The Shining.” Not the message they were going for, I’m sure.

And it became creepier from there. Kennedy begins to speak. Here is what he says: “Folks, I believe that love is the answer, but you oughta own a handgun just in case.”

With a manic gleam in his eye and a rather deranged smile, the ad fades away. Bye! First off, what was with the creepy porn music in the background? I mean-this is supposedly an ad for guns, not American Gigolo. That music will haunt my nightmares, and I do blame Kennedy for that.

But it gets worse. It gets much, much worse. As Kennedy is speaking, the word “believe” was in the background. Only someone can’t spell. Because instead of “believe,” the ad said, “belive.”

Faster than one could say, “We screwed up” the ad became a bad joke. Are we sure this guy has an ivy league education? This embarrassing error was apparently not picked up by anyone who had anything to do with this bizarre and unintentionally very amusing tweet. So, it would appear it is Kennedy and the NRA who got owned as Liberals everywhere joyously educated the people mentioned above on how to spell believe.
