FBI criminal probe launched into fundraising for Susan Collins’ 2020 Senate campaign
Don’t get too excited yet about that FBI probe into how Susan Collins’ 2020 campaign was illegally funded. There’s no indication yet that they can tie it directly back to her. And it’s not going to somehow magically invalidate her 2020 election victory, unless it turns out to be a much bigger and broader scandal than is being reported. But it’s funny how these types of scandals always happen with Trump-complicit Republicans like Collins.
