Matt Gaetz just got spanked
At this point it’s a matter of when, not if, Matt Gaetz is indicted and arrested. The Feds wouldn’t have given a cooperating plea deal to a monster like Joel Greenberg unless they’ve already determined that they can use his inside information to indict Gaetz.
In the meantime, Gaetz still seems to think he can somehow make this all go away by tweeting things in support of the worst people out there. For instance, after a right wing conspiracy loon was removed from Space Force command for disruptively pushing his conspiracy theories, Gaetz tweeted that the guy was a “patriot telling the truth about the attempted wokeification of our military – and worse.”
In response, Rachel Vindman tweeted “I don’t think Matt Gaetz understands the word patriot.” That’s fitting, because when we hear the word “patriot” we tend to think of people like Rachel Vindman’s husband, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman. Meanwhile, Gaetz continues to be lost in the weeds.
