Dr. Fauci slams anti-vaccine Senator Ron Johnson
Republican Senator Ron Johnson, who has spent the past year consistently touting whatever conspiracy theories and false information the Kremlin just happened to be touting at that same exact time, clearly has something suspicious going on. Is he officially working for the Kremlin, or is he just an unofficial Putin superfan? Either way, Johnson is a danger to United States national security.
Ron Johnson upped the ante on Friday by suggesting that there was something suspicious about the United States government’s effort to vaccinate everyone for COVID, and he instead called for a more limited vaccination. These words aren’t just false, they’re deadly – and Johnson should frankly be criminally indicted for abusing his position as a Senator to spread false information that will get Americans killed.
In any case, Dr. Fauci wasn’t having any of it. When he appeared on MSNBC on Friday, he was asked about Ron Johnson’s conspiracy theories, and Johnson’s assertion that the pandemic isn’t an emergency. Fauci said this: “We are dealing with an emergency. How can anyone say that 567,000 dead Americans is not an emergency?”
