The Matt Gaetz scandal just got even crazier

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The world of one Matt Gaetz has been getting more surreal with each passing day. FBI investigations, alleged extortion attempts, and the furrowed brow of Tucker Carlson, which seemed genuine this time. It’s been a whirlwind for the crazy Congressman.

But now, things have become even stranger. There have been rumors swirling that Gaetz was looking at early retirement from Congress to take a job at an alt-right “News” network. Gaetz did confirm he had indeed spoken to Fox, OAN, and Newsmax.

So, maniacal Mattie is making the rounds which isn’t that surprising given that his political career is sinking faster than the speed of light.

But here is where it gets bizarre. Fox Entertainment (Fox News) apparently was not happy to hear its name come out of the mouth of Gaetz. So, they issued a statement.

“No one with any level of authority has had conversations with Matt Gaetz for any of our platforms, and we have no interest in hiring him,” said the Fox spokesperson.

Wow. A pushback from the fakest news organization in the country. Perhaps they did it because of the doomed interview with one Tucker Carlson. Or maybe this is indeed proof that we are living in a simulation.

At any rate, one knows it’s terrible for the Congressman when the most hateful fake news network on the planet feels the need to distance themselves.

If these allegations against him prove accurate, Gaetz will most likely not be in either Congress or television. As we wait to see what comes out of this investigation, the demented Gaetz continues to spin out of control. Perhaps he should sit this one out.
