House Democrat Tim Ryan sounds the alarm on USPS truck contract
President Joe Biden has nominated a slate of new Postal Board members, meaning the process of ousting corrupt Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is underway. But it’s a complex process requiring several steps, and it unfortunately can’t be done quickly, or with the wave of a magic wand.
In the meantime, the key is to keep calling out DeJoy’s corruption, and keep him on the defensive. House Democrat Tim Ryan is doing precisely that when it comes to a bizarrely corrupt new USPS truck contract:
What’s wrong with the USPS truck contract?
❗️It was awarded to a defense contractor who’s never made an electric vehicle
❗️Only 10% of OshKosh’s new trucks will be electric
❗️$54 million in OshKosh stock was bought the night before the announcementhttps://t.co/fpftObqoCp— Tim Ryan (@TimRyan) March 13, 2021
Meanwhile there’s buzz that Tim Ryan could be running for the Senate seat in Ohio that’s coming open in 2022 with the retirement of Rob Portman. If Ryan were to run and win, it would flip the seat for the Democrats.
