So that explains Donald Trump Jr.’s meltdown video

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this week Donald Trump Jr. posted his most disturbing video to date, in which he stood in front of a wall of guns while vaguely threatening teachers. It raised the question of what had sent him so thoroughly over the edge.

On Tuesday the news broke that the Manhattan District Attorney’s office is criminally targeting not just Donald Trump, but also Donald Trump Jr. But this news surfaced two days after Junior’s meltdown video, meaning that unless he had advance knowledge of what was going to be published, it couldn’t have triggered his meltdown.

Yesterday the news broke that Donald Trump Jr. had been deposed in the Washington DC Attorney General’s civil probe into the Trump inaugural scandal. But the details reveal that he was actually deposed back on February 11th. His meltdown video surfaced a little more than a week after that.

Notably, the court filings in the Washington DC case state that Donald Trump Jr.’s testimony only served to raise even more questions about the inaugural scandal. This suggests that Junior blabbed too much during his testimony and inadvertently gave things away that helped point investigators in the right direction.

No wonder Junior ended up rambling in front of a wall of guns. He must have known that his deposition was a disaster for him. It’s only going to get worse if and when New York prosecutors end up criminally indicting him. If anyone around Donald Trump Jr. cares about him, they should be getting him the professional help he needs.
