Lev Parnas rips Rudy Giuliani a new one

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

More than a year after his associates Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman were arrested in relation to the Trump-Ukraine scandal, Rudy Giuliani remains free. Of course the DOJ has been closing in on him for awhile, based on what’s leaked to the media – and now that Trump is gone, Rudy’s indictment and arrest could come at any time.

Meanwhile Lev is still awaiting trial, and he long ago publicly turned against Giuliani. Yesterday Giuliani finally admitted that he did send Trump a request for a $20,000 per day legal retainer, but he claimed that his associate actually sent it without his knowledge.

This is remarkable, even for Rudy. It’s not even clear why he’s bothering to tell this kind of lie, considering Trump is already gone, and Rudy’s never getting paid the retainer anyway.

But Lev Parnas has something to say about all of it. He tweeted this: “Rudy wants us to believe that Maria sent a bill to Trump without His knowledge? Just like Rudy didn’t know he was dealing with Russian operatives to spread misinformation about Joe Biden. Or How he didn’t incite the rioters that stormed the Capitol by screaming ‘trial by combat’.”

At this point we’re all just waiting for Rudy Giuliani to be arrested. Unless it happened secretly, it looks like Trump never did pardon Giuliani on anything. That means Rudy is likely to end up spending the rest of his life in prison – as he should, considering the extent to which he criminally conspired against the United States.
