Ted Cruz just got owned

Earlier today we brought you the story of how Ted Cruz was suddenly trying to impersonate a reasonable person, and how it wasn’t going particularly well for him. Now this evening it appears Cruz has reverted back to his natural state, and it’s going even worse for him.

Ted Cruz released this statement tonight: “By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.”

Wait a minute here. There’s no way Ted Cruz is dumb enough to actually believe that the Paris Climate Agreement is something that we negotiated with the people of Paris. It’s just that Cruz wants to be able to make a simplistic faux-clever argument to braindead xenophobic people on the far right, and that requires lying about what the situation is to begin with.

Ted Cruz ended up getting totally owned over it. He’s now up to more than fifty thousand negative replies on his tweet after just a couple hours. Cruz has always lied at every turn, in as divisive a manner as possible. But now that he’s graduated to domestic terrorist, Americans are finally calling him out in the manner he deserves. He should resign.
