President Joe Biden is wasting no time

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

– The Biden White House has already taken down the “1776 commission” webpage. Its not clear if this was a specific move, or if it was merely a result of the overall archiving of the Trump-era version of the White House website. But either way, Trump’s overtly racist manifesto is already gone, replaced by a 404 error. You love to see it.

– President Biden has already begun signing official documents. He even sat at a normal sized desk. It’s a small thing, but it’s nice to finally have people running the White House who are actually competent at basic things, like planning for a photo op.

– President Biden’s White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is set to hold a press briefing at around 7pm eastern time today. That’s right, in another sign that we’re headed back toward competence, transparency, and proper governing, we’re actually going to have a White House press briefing. As a bonus, we’re betting Psaki won’t tell a single lie.

– Donald Trump is officially not the President, and he’s officially eligible for indictment and arrest. And that’s the last thing I want to say about him today.
