This is going to change everything

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

With over a year of the Coronavirus swathing a wide path through America (taking hundreds of thousands of lives and creating long term illnesses yet to be understood) it’s important to consider how Joe Biden might have an immediate impact on the horrible trend the USA has become painfully accustomed to. It’s about hope.

One of the most effective methods of political success is to create a common enemy and gather the people to fight it as one. Rather than focusing on religions, races or political figures as that common enemy Biden indicates he’s chosen to take on the Corona Virus enemy.

Biden will make masks “cool” and social distancing “respectful” giving credence to the idea that “we really are all in this together” and if that causes a reasonable uptick in protocol including 6 foot people gaps, testing and self quarantines, science shows us the benefits will reveal themselves.

In the shorter term we should see fewer fatalities and in the longer tern we’ll very likely see less cases (and less spread per case). Biden has all the charisma and following required to get that ball rolling and with News Agencies (and people) disseminating more of his information; more scientific fact, more real time numbers – he’ll also gain traction with these, and other Fauci approved informational bites and messages as they are released over the next few months.

If Biden can help states get vaccines rolled out as fast as they roll in, The USA can hold out hope for the first time in a full year that life will soon return to a new “near normal” life for Americans.
