Susan Collins is a complete disaster
Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski is calling for Donald Trump’s resignation. Republican Senator Pat Toomey is calling for Trump’s resignation and saying that Trump faces criminal exposure. It’s proof that some Republican Senators are at least willing to do the right thing way too late.
Then there’s Susan Collins. During impeachment, she insisted she was voting to acquit Donald Trump because he had surely learned his lesson after he got caught trying to blackmail a foreign leader into rigging the election for him. But now that everything has hit the fan, Collins is nowhere to be found.
Susan Collins is doing what she does best, which is nothing. She’s a complete disaster. If she’s not going to do her job, she should resign.
