Donald Trump’s lawyer gets banned from Twitter – and Trump may be next

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this evening, Twitter announced that it had suspended Donald Trump for at least twelve hours, after he posted multiple tweets praising the domestic terrorists who attacked the U.S. Capitol Building. Twitter also stated that Trump is now one bad tweet away from being permanently banned. Now it turns out Trump’s lawyer Lin Wood has indeed suffered that fate.

As of late tonight, Lin Wood’s @llinwood account on Twitter has been taken down entirely, and replaced with an “account suspended” notice. This means that his account is suspended permanently, and that he’s banned from the platform. This came even as Wood was calling for the murder of Mike Pence on far-right Twitter alternative Parler. There are reports that Wood has also been banned from Parler, but we can’t confirm this.

At the rate he was going, it was inevitable that Wood would get kicked off Twitter. Now the biggest question may be whether his posts calling for violence against Pence have been enough to get him criminally charged.
