Republican Governor calls for Donald Trump’s immediate removal

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Vermont’s Republican Governor Phil Scott is now calling for the immediate removal of Donald Trump, through impeachment or the 25th Amendment. Retired General Barry McCaffrey is also calling for the immediate impeachment and removal of Trump. Scott and McCaffrey have long been no fans of Trump. But their words carry weight on this kind of thing.

At this point you almost get the feeling that Mike Pence is now functioning as President in a de facto capacity, if certainly not an official capacity. The New York Times says it was Pence who signed off on the DC National Guard being sent into the Capitol, after Trump refused to sign off on it. It’s now being reported that Pelosi and McConnell are coordinating with Pence on certifying the election tonight. It’s as if Trump has disappeared from the office of the Presidency entirely.
