President-elect Joe Biden calls out Donald Trump over “sedition” attack on U.S. Capitol

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s been hours since armed pro-Trump domestic terrorists invaded the U.S. Capitol building and placed it under siege. Even as law enforcement struggles to get the building under control, Donald Trump has merely put out a few tweets urging the terrorists to stand own, but he has yet to publicly speak.

President-elect Joe Biden ended up addressing the nation before Trump, which tells you all you need to know about both men. Biden called on Trump to “step up” by going on television and instructing his supporters to stand down. Biden also pointed out that these thugs are bordering on “sedition” with their actions – which all but ensures that the Biden DOJ will indeed prosecute these thugs for charges related to sedition.

Meanwhile Donald Trump is apparently still hiding in the White House, unwilling or unable to muster the decency to go on television and admit he lost so that his thugs will stand down. This attack on the Capitol will define his legacy. And it now seems a given that Trump will stand federal criminal trial for inciting this.
