– Is Susan Collins still disappointed in Trump, or has she moved on to concerned? Remember when Collins voted to acquit a guilty Trump during his impeachment trial, and then insisted that Trump had learned his lesson? Collins, and other Republican Senators who voted to acquit him, should be criminally charged for conspiring in Trump’s crimes.

– Nancy Pelosi was re-elected Speaker of the House today. Trump will be lucky if he’s elected president of Cell Block D.

– Congrats to Paul Ryan for coming out of hiding after the war ended, and pretending to have been fighting for the winning side all along.

– Today is Christmas Day for us. We got confirmation that Trump really does have no idea how to save himself, and as a bonus, a smoking gun for his criminal trial. If your response to today’s news is to hand wring and lament, then you’re pretty far removed from what winning and losing looks like in politics.
