Even Donald Trump’s hotel is now admitting Trump lost the election

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is still pretending he can somehow magically steal himself a second presidential term, even though that would be literally impossible at this point. It’s debatable to what extent he’s just that delusional, and to what extent this is all about using it as an excuse to continue fundraising. Either way, even Trump’s own hotel is now admitting he’s lost and it’s over.

The Trump International Hotel in Washington DC has now unblocked all of the rooms it was holding for inauguration week, and is offering them individually at a discount. In other words, the Trump Hotel just gave away all the rooms that it had been holding for Trump’s entourage, because Trump won’t be having an inauguration on that day; Joe Biden will.

This means that Donald Trump and/or the people he has running his hotel have decided that they’re not willing to lose money by keeping these rooms reserved for an imaginary Trump inauguration, just to keep up the appearance that a Trump inauguration is happening. It’s the latest sign that even Trump knows it’s over.
