Everything is hitting the fan tonight
Jared Kushner and Lara Trump are in deep campaign finance trouble. Mike Pence’s nephew is involved. Rudy Giuliani was at the White House today. Pardon talk in the air. Donald Trump is totally in la la land. Can’t wait until this Trump endgame nonsense is over so we can all get a good night’s sleep.
– I don’t necessarily have a problem with the fact that Fox News boss Rupert Murdoch got vaccinated. He’s 89 years old and highly vulnerable. Provided he didn’t improperly skip ahead of anyone in line, I’m not in the business of wanting to deny people the vaccine on the sole basis of me not liking them. But I do have a real problem with Murdoch getting the vaccine even as his Fox News stooge Tucker Carlson is on air ranting against the vaccine. Either Murdoch and company think the vaccine is legitimate or they don’t. Pick a side.
– The best the Republican Senate could come up with today was a two-day funding bill to avoid an immediate government shutdown. These Republicans are a complete mess. “The government” isn’t the problem. “The Senate” isn’t the problem. The Republicans are the problem. But what else is new?
