Donald Trump is now trying to burn it all down – for his own side
Donald Trump is telling the Governor of Georgia to “call off” the special election. To be clear, that can’t and won’t happen. But Trump is now telling Republican voters not to bother participating in the special election, in almost exact words.
Trump is trying to punish the Republican Party for not doing enough to save him on his way down. After all the loyalty they’ve shown him over the past four years, he’s “rewarding” them by trying to take them down with him. And they deserve it.
– Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis are now publicly attacking Trump Attorney General Bill Barr for admitting that Trump lost the election fair and square. Once Trump lost, you always knew his various henchmen would start throwing each other under the bus, in the hope of being among the handful of Trump people who survive this implosion. The kicker is that by turning on each other so viciously, they’re merely helping ensure that none of them come out of this unscathed.
