Joe Biden’s got this
Some of you want Joe Biden to go out there and angrily stomp his feet about Trump’s unwillingness to start the transition. But that would weaken Biden’s position. Nothing would change as a result of Biden stomping his feet, he’d look foolish for trying and failing, and it would give Trump leverage that he doesn’t currently have.
Biden’s smart move is to just keep rolling out his cabinet, making clear to everyone that he is the President-elect, and using it to further erode Trump’s crumbling position. Neither Biden nor Trump has a magic wand. But Biden has the leverage, and it’s important that he not fritter it away by losing his cool. He’s got this.
