Donald Trump just lost big in court
– The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has rejected Donald Trump’s claim that Philadelphia did something wrong with its ballot counting. This was obviously never, ever going anywhere. It’s just a stunt for Trump to continue grifting. And now it’s nearly at its end.
– 3:30pm today: Palmer Report makes fun of Donald Trump for not having tweeted anything in sixteen hours. 3:47pm today: Donald Trump suddenly tweets something. This always happens. It never fails. Trump must be stalking me!
– After Chuck Grassley went into quarantine, leaving the Republicans without enough votes to confirm deranged Fed nominee Judy Shelton, Mitch McConnell went ahead and held a vote on her today anyway. It’s not the final vote for her, but it appears McConnell is giving up on Shelton and looking to quickly finish her off, in the hope he can ram someone else through instead who will get the approval of the Republicans who were unwilling to vote for Shelton. So it’s a partial victory for us – and a reminder that neither side in politics ever has a magic wand.
