Donald Trump’s own National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien hints that it’s over for Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $2097 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Even as Donald Trump tweets delusional nonsense like “I WON THE ELECTION” in an attempt to keep his fantasy alive of overturning the results so he can continue lining his pockets, he’s now facing pushback from his own White House inner circle.

Trump’s handpicked White House National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien said this, according to NBC News: “If the Biden-Harris ticket is determined to be the winner — and obviously things look that way now — we’ll have a very professional transition from the National Security Council.”

O’Brien said this during a forum, where he surely knew his remarks would become public and be widely publicized. So it’s pretty clear that he’s not only sending Donald Trump a message, but also making a point of weakening Trump’s attempt at keeping the illusion going.

Trump could try firing Robert O’Brien, but at this point it’s not clear that he has the muscle. The longer Trump drags this out, he doesn’t magically gain leverage. Instead, the worse this starts to look for Trump, the more of his allies will decide they need to move on from his idiocy. We’ve already seen the likes of Karl Rove and John Bolton, Sheldon Adelson, and Charles Koch publicly tell Trump it’s over.
