Told you Donald Trump was only pretending to “contest” the election so he could pocket the money
All week Palmer Report has been pointing out that Donald Trump was only pretending to contest the election results as an excuse to raise funds for his election legal fund from his gullible supporters. This was confirmed when the fine print revealed that 60% of the donations to Trump’s election legal fund were indeed going directly to Trump. Now it’s even uglier than that.
Reuters is reporting tonight that 100% of any donations under $8,000 are going into Trump’s pocket. No really, this is all just a cash grab. Trump knows he can’t magically overturn the election. He’s been counting on his supporters not figuring that out for awhile.
But with his allies like Robert Jeffress and even Karl Rove now publicly telling Trump it’s over, and polling showing that nearly 80% of Americans agree Biden won, Trump’s grifting scheme is running short on time.
