House Republicans openly feud with each other as Donald Trump circles the drain
– House Republicans Dan Crenshaw and Marjorie Taylor Greene are now openly feuding on Twitter and calling each other liars, if you’re wondering how the GOP is handling Donald Trump’s downfall. It’s not surprising. Greene is a far right loon who just got elected on Trumpism, so she has to remain loyal to him (for now). Crenshaw is also a far right loon, but he’s clearly ready to insulate himself from Trump’s downfall. We’ll see more of this kind of split within the GOP as they each try to figure out what’s selfishly best for themselves.
– I have no interest in Trump’s legal challenges. At these margins he has zero chance of litigating enough ballots to flip any states that would get him to 270. Nor can he magically have the Pennsylvania legislature hand him the state’s electoral votes. These narratives are just cable news filler while we await more vote totals.
– It’s been obvious for awhile, but MSNBC is
now officially declaring Democratic candidate Mark Kelly the winner in the Senate race in Arizona. Congrats to Mark Kelly and his wife, national hero Gabby Giffords!
– Tweet of the day, from Andrew Yang: “The best thing we could do for Joe is to get him a Democratic Senate. There should be coordination of resources. Everyone who campaigned for Joe should get ready to head to Georgia. I’ll go. It’s the only way to sideline Mitch and give Joe a unified government.”
