The numbers are crazy good right now for Joe Biden in Pennsylvania
It took two hours for Joe Biden’s deficit in Pennsylvania to drop from 53,000 to 42,000. It then took another twenty minutes or so for Biden’s deficit to drop from 42,000 to its current 26,000. The gap is closing at an accelerating rate.
These numbers are coming in at random time intervals, so we’re still not going to make any predictions about precisely what time Biden will surpass Trump. But at the rate the numbers are accelerating, a few things are clear. First, we’re now just hours (not days) away from Biden taking the lead in Pennsylvania. Second, it’s now clear that Biden will go on to win Pennsylvania by a fairly sizable margin.
Finally, it’s worth reminding everyone that Pennsylvania’s twenty electoral votes are enough to put Joe Biden over 270, even if Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada don’t come through for him. In other words, when Biden is named the winner of Pennsylvania, he’ll be named the winner of the 2020 election.
