Donald Trump gets desperate
Donald Trump’s court challenges are failing. No surprise. Never had a chance. Now Trump is going to move on to even more desperate ideas that have even less chance of working. He’ll leak these doomsday strategies, in the hope that the media will start trying to scare us into staying tuned in by hyping them. But remember: there are no magic wands.
“But Trump will magically have the state legislatures…” Nope. “But Trump will magically have the electors…” Nope. “But the Supreme Court…” Nope. There are still no magic wands.
This isn’t going to be a particularly close race. Biden will win Michigan and Pennsylvania by six figures, Wisconsin by five figures. That’s 270 electoral votes right there. No magic wand will circumvent a victory that wide.
As I said before the vote counting started, Trump’s only chance of successful shenanigans would be if the deciding state came down to something like a few hundred votes, which was the case in 2000. But that’s not going to be the case in this election.
