Donald Trump’s entire life is on fire right now
For awhile now, Palmer Report has been pointing out that we’re not running out of time to stop Donald Trump; it’s Donald Trump who’s running out of time. He’s never really been in contention for reelection, and he’s always been earmarked for prison if he lost. Now everyone else seems to finally be figuring this out, thanks to the sheer explosiveness of how badly Trump’s life is collapsing.
At this point Trump is so far behind with so little time left, he’s literally risking his life by hitting the campaign trail while still visibly sick and weak with coronavirus. Even Trump’s own campaign adviser is so worried that Trump is going to kill himself by overdoing it, he’s leaking this fear to the media in the hope that the message sinks in for Trump, which it won’t.
Sure, Trump is risking the lives of everyone around him; that’s to be expected from the monster. But putting his own life at risk is new for him, and it suggests one of two things. Either Trump has made the calculated decision that he’d rather risk dying on the campaign trail than risk losing and going to prison, or he’s now so far gone that he doesn’t really understand that he’s betting his life by hitting the campaign trail.
In any case, Donald Trump’s entire life is on fire at this point. Consider that his least capable son Eric Trump was forced to testify to the New York Attorney General about his father’s crimes this week, and then was pressed into action as a shouting and flailing surrogate yesterday. Trump has nothing left to work with at this point. No wonder he’s hitting the trail himself – but it feels like a suicide mission. Meanwhile, we have to remain vigilant and get out the vote, because this situation is just too volatile to be 100% certain about anything.
