Donald Trump goes berserk when he finds out how badly he’s losing
Donald Trump seems to be lacking in stamina ever since he caught coronavirus. Yesterday he gave a speech with fresh bandages over an apparent IV drug injection spot on the back of his hand, and even with the drug boost, he was only able to speak for eighteen minutes before giving up. Then he spent the rest of the day apparently being too wiped out to even tweet anything.
But it does appear that Trump has just enough “stamina” to watch cable news, because he’s already ranting about the newly released ABC Washington Post poll which says that he’s down by twelve points nationwide. Trump posted this bizarre tweet in response:
In 2016, the ABC News/Washington Post Poll was such a complete disaster that these two Fake News Organizations changed the numbers prior to the Election. Now these haters are trying the same thing, though on a lesser scale, again. Will have a bigger win than even 2016!
To be clear, none of what Trump is describing really happened, and in fact none of what he’s alleging even makes sense. But this tweet reveals that Trump is indeed using his limited energy to watch cable news and delusionally rant about how he’s somehow not really losing. This isn’t a guy who’s trying to win. That gives us an opportunity to focus on voter turnout, phone banking, and volunteering, an run up the score.
