Dear Palmer Report readers,
We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.
In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer
Palmer Report
On a night when we all learned that Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign is out of money, in part because the shadowy figures who would normally bankroll him are expecting him to lose anyway, one would think that Trump would use this as an opportunity for self reflection. Instead, in a sign that his broken mind is shattering even further, he’s hallucinating about things.
Late on Monday night, Donald Trump posted this tweet: “The Real Polls are starting to look GREAT! We will be having an even bigger victory than that of 2016. The Radical Left Anarchists, Agitators, Looters, and just plain Lunatics, will not be happy, but they will behave!”
To be clear, there are no polls that look good for him, period. He’s still in the same eight point hole in the national polling averages that he’s always been in. He’s still losing the swing states. There is absolutely nothing, anywhere, that says things are “starting to look great” for him. Nothing is trending in his direction. The only variables right now are whether his worsening scandals, and newfound inability to fund his campaign, will end up making things even uglier for him. Yet Trump has convinced himself that things are going great for him. Donald Trump is suffering hallucinations, plain and simple.
