Donald Trump narcissistically runs his mouth every day, even when he has nothing to say, so people tune out his incessant babbling. Joe Biden only speaks up when he has something to say, so it ends up counting. To that end, Biden held a press conference today, which ended up taking attention away from Trump’s pointless appearance at a battleship in North Carolina.
To the surprise of no one, Trump wasn’t happy about Biden getting most of the attention today. But Trump’s response was beyond the pale in terms of how bizarre it was: “Can you believe what’s happening!? They give Joe Hiden’ the questions, and he reads them an answer!”
That’s right, Donald Trump is now accusing Joe Biden of having somehow secretly had all the press conference questions in advance. To give you an idea of how deranged of a conspiracy theory this is, it would have required every reporter in the room and every major news outlet to have been in on the secret plot.
This tweet raises even more questions about Donald Trump’s mental fitness and cognitive abilities, in the wake of his de facto confession yesterday that he had a series of mini-strokes requiring an emergency hospital visit.
