Nearly every poll thus far says that Donald Trump did not get a traditional post-convention bounce. The singular exception is the Emerson poll, which says that Trump went up 2 points, but is still losing. These kinds of variances always happen; it’s why you look at the average of the polls, and never any one poll, when you want to see a trend.

But various pundits, on TV and online, are now insisting that this one poll somehow means Trump is secretly winning or something. I warned you that they’d pull this precise stunt this week. How did I know? It’s what they always do. They’re trying to scare you into staying tuned in all day, because they want the ratings. Your job is to not fall for this crap, and instead spend your time phone banking and volunteering for Biden.
