The Kim Jong Un death watch is officially back on again

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

A few months ago there were widespread reports that brutal North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was either dead, or in a coma, or braindead, or having emergency heart surgery. Then suddenly he appeared in public again, alive and well, and the storyline faded. Now Kim is reportedly back in a coma. So what’s going on?

Back when Kim Jong Un reemerged after his previous health scare, Palmer Report pointed out that his “recovery” could easily have been staged. He only made a couple of isolated “public appearances” โ€“ including a bizarre one at a fertilizer plant โ€“ that could have been leftover footage from events he’d attended in the past. But the mainstream media 100% bought into the narrative that Kim had recovered, and so the story went away.

But tonight, publications like TMZ, The Mirror, and the New York Post are reporting that Kim Jong Un is now in a coma after all. You can take that for whatever you want, based on what you think about the legitimacy of those publications. But it could well be that Kim never did recover from his previous coma, or that he’s been dead the entire time, and now his sister is finally ready to move forward on her own. Or it could be that Kim, whose heart issues are reportedly chronic, did recover last time around, but now he’s in trouble again.

Either way, the demise of Kim Jong Un should be a good thing for the world โ€“ but his sister doesn’t appear to be any less evil, so it could end up being a wash. And with a mentally depraved criminal like Donald Trump in the final months of his own failed regime, it makes the whole thing even more unstable.
