Donald Trump is having another day from hell

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The only good news about today if you’re Donald Trump? It’s nearly midnight on the east coast, meaning this day is almost over. That’s how much of a disaster today has been for Trump, who saw a number of things go wrong that were inevitable, as well as some things go wrong that no one saw coming.

Trump started off by sending Sean Spicer to the briefing room podium to try to put a damper on the increasing questions about Jared Kushner and the Russia scandal. But that predictable backfired, and by the time Spicer abruptly bailed in the briefing, reporters were literally booing him – which we covered here.

Then came word that Congress is now targeting Donald Trump’s longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen in the Russia scandal investigation, a stunning development – which we covered here.

Later in the day, a story leaked in which for some reason Donald Trump’s own friends decided to paint him as being a fragile whiny baby who’s psychologically falling apart – which CNN covered here.

Then came the biggest bodyblow of the day, when Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn finally decided to turn over evidence in the Trump-Russia scandal to Congress – which we covered here.
