Mike Pence just got bulldozed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Mike Pence’s problems just keep multiplying. He’s on a ticket with Donald Trump that’s severely behind in the polls. Pence just found out he’s going to have to debate Kamala Harris, who has spent the past few years destroying the likes of Brett Kavanaugh, Bill Barr, and Jeff Sessions to their faces. There’s even (unfounded) buzz that Pence could get replaced on the ticket.

Now Mike Pence has a new problem: the fact that Joe Biden has picked a strong vice presidential running mate is putting the focus back on just how weak, inept, dishonest, and negligent Pence is. It’s also forcing Pence to go out there and pound the pavement, which isn’t exactly going well for him.

For instance, on Wednesday evening Mike Pence claimed on Twitter that “We’ve created more jobs in the last 3 months than Joe Biden and Barack Obama created in their 8 years in office.” Senator Chris Murphy promptly bulldozed him for it: “Yes. If you intentionally mismanage a preventable pandemic so that 150,000 humans needlessly die and a sixth of the population lose their jobs in the resulting nightmarish economic meltdown, you can in fact create a cataclysm so hellish that there becomes nowhere to go but up.”
