Everyone who watched Donald Trump’s insane Bedminster press conference is now dumber for having watched it

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

When Donald Trump announced out of nowhere that he was holding a press conference tonight at his Bedminster country club in New Jersey, we knew it would be a disaster. These kinds of spontaneous, poorly planned stunts never go well for him. But even we didn’t realize it would be quite this bad.

Reporters in the room have confirmed that drunk members of Trump’s country club were in the same room as the briefing – and they could be heard cheering for Trump when he took the stage. Trump then began rambling incoherently at length, frequently straying from the prepared text that he was stumbling through. At one point he tried to pick a fight with the Tennessee Valley Authority, for reasons that weren’t completely clear.

To give you an idea of what a farce this was, MSNBC didn’t even bother to air it. Fox News did air it, but they eventually cut away as he began going off the rails. When Fox did check back in with Trump later, the first words out of his mouth were “Molotov cocktails,” in a sign of just how thoroughly he’d lost the plot. Fox then later cut Trump off again. It was just that bad.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
