Tammy Duckworth comes out swinging
The Democrats in Congress introduced comprehensive coronavirus relief legislation several weeks ago, which the Republicans promptly ignored. Now the Republicans are finally releasing their own plan, but it’s far too little too late, and it’s clear they’re just going through the motions.
It turns out Senate Republicans are also screw over the disability community with their coronavirus legislation. Senator Tammy Duckworth, who lost both her legs in battle, is having absolutely none of it:
