Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has finally agreed to offer a minimal economic relief package to working class Americans. That’s cute, but Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats passed a comprehensive relief package several weeks ago, which McConnell still refuses to put to a Senate vote.

Now that McConnell is incrementally caving, Nancy Pelosi is going right at him:

Speaker Pelosi added this on Twitter: “Let’s get real here: you can’t offer something you don’t have — and Washington Republicans have nothing for those suffering from the #TrumpVirus crisis. House Democrats, on the other hand, have a bold plan that defeats it, honors our heroes, and puts money in Americans’ pockets.” That’s right, she’s calling it the “Trump Virus” – which at this point is precisely what it is.
