One sure sign that Donald Trump is aware of his own declining cognitive skills: he keeps obsessing over the cognitive test that doctors gave him to see how badly his mind has eroded. It wasn’t enough that he ranted obsessively about it during his Chris Wallace interview; now he’s at it again.

Donald Trump is once again ranting about his cognitive test, this time melting down in a segment that aired on the Tucker Carlson show. Trump insisted that some of the questions on the test were very difficult. He explained that he was told the words “person, woman, man, camera, TV” and then asked to repeat them. Trump then kept repeating these same words over and over. By the third time he seemed to really struggle to remember them.

The real upshot here is that Donald Trump keeps going around bragging about how he was able to answer the simplest of questions that doctors asked him. He’s unwittingly suggesting to everyone that his brain isn’t able to function at a level much above these kinds of questions. Moreover, Trump keeps prompting everyone to ask why doctors felt compelled to give him a senility test to begin with. He just won’t let it go.
