District Attorney vows to arrest Trump’s goons

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s still not entirely clear who these Trump administration goons are who have invaded cities like Portland and begun kidnapping peaceful protesters. What is clear is that these goons are going to be facing some serious legal jeopardy.

Donald Trump is now threatening to send his goons to several additional cities, including Philadelphia. It’s still hazy as to whether Trump is actually going to go through with this; his usual pattern is to briefly flex his imaginary muscles, then threaten to do more damage, before quickly caving.

In any case, the District Attorney for Philadelphia says that if Trump’s goons show up in his city and start trying to carry out their Gestapo tactics, he’ll just have them arrested. This is a big deal, because it means these agents are now looking at arrest, trial, imprisonment, and a criminal record – and they’ll spend the rest of their lives trying to clean up that mess even if Trump pardons them.

Donald Trump doesn’t simply have a magic wand. He’s a bumbler and a bluffer, and he has a consistent history of either being unable to carry out his threats, or backing down under pressure. The more we turn up the pressure over Trump’s kidnapping goons, the more likely he is to give up on this particular evil plot.
