Ted Cruz goes berserk as Republican Senate implodes
Republican Senator Ted Cruz is best known for being an extremist, lying a lot, being a creepy weirdo, and losing Twitter feuds to people like Mark Cuban. Cruz is also known for famously not getting along with his Senate colleagues, even within his own party. Now Cruz is the one sounding the alarm as the GOP Senate caves in on itself.
Senate Republicans don’t want to be doing another stimulus package for working class Americans, because they’d rather be steering that money to their wealthy donors. But facing mounting pressure, they’re now trying to put together a stimulus package after all. It’s not going well.
Apparently the GOP Senators are now feuding internally over how much money to include in the stimulus. According to a Washington Post report just now, Ted Cruz blurted out “What in the hell are we doing?” during a closed door lunch today. Notably, at least one of the GOP Senators in the room was perturbed enough by it all to leak it to the media.
If this keeps up, Republican Senators will only make it easier for us to vote them out in November. Now let’s get to work on things like voter registration and voter turnout.
