Claire McCaskill just destroyed Lindsey Graham
Senator Claire McCaskill has always been one to fearlessly speak her mind. Now that she’s no longer in office, she’s even more free to call things like she sees them. Yesterday her former colleague Lindsey Graham tweeted a ridiculous (and factually inaccurate) rationale for Donald Trump’s decision to illegally commute his criminal co-conspirator Roger Stone’s prison sentence.
Let’s just say that McCaskill wasn’t impressed with what Lindsey Graham had to say for himself:
You POS. You know the criminal justice system. He didn’t plead guilty. He asked for a jury trial. A jury convicted him of 7 felonies. And you are lying, you know no one gets probation after that. But then, you are now entrenched with the liars. https://t.co/ooQ5QLAsk4

Claire McCaskill then went on to quip that “I think I better quit Twitter for the day.” But she’s absolutely right. Lindsey Graham isn’t merely confused, or taking an opposing position. He’s dishonestly trying to justify a criminal act on Donald Trump’s part. Graham deserves all the criticism he’s receiving and more.
