How disturbingly out of control is the coronavirus crisis in the United States? Even the Governor of Texas, a delusional right wing lunatic, has finally ordered everyone in his state to begin wearing masks. But don’t tell Donald Trump how bad things are, because he really wants us to believe that there’s “great news” in all of this.

There is a rise in Coronavirus cases because our testing is so massive and so good, far bigger and better than any other country. This is great news, but even better news is that death, and the death rate, is DOWN. Also, younger people, who get better much easier and faster!

We’re not even sure where to start. Best anyone can tell, the only reason the death rate isn’t climbing as fast as the new case rate is that the death rate is a lagging indicator that can take weeks to kick in. And when young people catch coronavirus, they just spread it to older and more vulnerable people. There’s no positive news in here. Donald Trump is completely out of his mind.
