Donald Trump has whacked out midnight meltdown about John Bolton
When Donald Trump called in to the Sean Hannity show on Wednesday night, he came across as somewhat frantic and plenty clueless. By the time Trump got around to ripping into John Bolton, he seemed pretty confused about what he wanted to say, only managing to spit out sentence fragments about how Bolton was a washed up criminal or something.
But just after midnight eastern time, Trump finally figured out what he wanted to say about John Bolton. It didn’t come across much better:
Wacko John Bolton’s “exceedingly tedious”(New York Times) book is made up of lies & fake stories. Said all good about me, in print, until the day I fired him. A disgruntled boring fool who only wanted to go to war. Never had a clue, was ostracized & happily dumped. What a dope!

Are we really supposed to be surprised that Bolton publicly said positive things about the guy who was his boss at the time? Not publicly trashing your boss is largely a prerequisite for keeping a job, whether you think your boss is any good or not. Far be it from us to defend Bolton, who is very much a fool and a dope, but Trump is far more of a fool and a dope. Moreover, all Trump is doing right now is driving Bolton’s book further up the sales charts. But Trump just can’t help himself, can he?
