Donald Trump has complete meltdown after football and soccer players turn against him
When Houston Texans star JJ Watt came out strongly in favor of athletes taking a knee during the National Anthem this afternoon, we were wondering how Donald Trump would react. He’s on the losing side of this issue, with everyone from Drew Brees, to Roger Goodell, to now Watt going against him.
So how did Trump respond? He still has yet to address JJ Watt, probably because he’s scared of him. Instead, Trump retweeted the news that the U.S. soccer team won’t stand during the anthem, and added “I won’t be watching much anymore!” Then he added “And it looks like the NFL is heading in that direction also, but not with me watching!”
That’s right, with everything from a pandemic to economic collapse civil unrest going on in this country right now, the so-called President of the United States is threatening to stop watching soccer and football. Give us a break. As if Trump has ever watched a soccer match in his life. All the guy does is watch Fox News and whine on Twitter about how it isn’t slanted heavily enough in his direction.
