Donald Trump suddenly has a JJ Watt problem
Donald Trump just keeps doubling down on his position against NFL players taking a knee, seemingly oblivious to the fact that it’s now a losing issue for him. We’ve seen everyone from Drew Brees to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell come around on the issue. Trump attacked them both for it, but it got him nowhere – and Brees pushed back against Trump over it.
Now Trump has another problem, with Houston Texans star JJ Watt now coming out in support of kneeling:

Donald Trump has a real problem now. What’s he going to do, attack JJ Watt too? Trump should have abandoned this issue awhile ago. But now he’s married to it – and Americans increasingly want a divorce from him.
