Dear Palmer Report readers,
We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.
In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer
Palmer Report
When Donald Trump visited yet another medical equipment factory today, it raised questions about why he was bothering. His past few visits brought him nothing but criticism for refusing to wear a mask. When Trump visited a Maine factory today, he refused to wear a mask again – and this time he did tangible damage.
It turns out the coronavirus testing components that were manufactured during Donald Trump’s visit are now going to be destroyed, according to USA Today, because Trump’s refusal to wear a mask means the components are no longer safe.
It’s bad enough that Donald Trump has spent months standing in the way of proper testing, by downplaying the need for it, and by refusing to invoke the Defense Production Act to boost manufacturing. Now Trump is going into factories and destroying some of the coronavirus testing equipment that is being manufactured. This guy just keeps getting worse.
